I lived in Sydney all my life until moving to Taree on the NSW mid-north coast in May last year. A civil engineer by profession, I worked primarily for consulting
firms in my early career before moving into construction, and then design management and later, construction management of major transport
infrastructure projects in Sydney. Carol was a logistics manager for a food import/export business.
Carol and I have been married for 10 years and have 5 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Relatively new to caravanning, we purchased our first van in
2015 (a Jayco). We loved the caravanning life and retired in late 2016 to travel full-time. We had our Bushtracker built and joined the BOG in November 2017. Our full-time travels continued for a total of 4 years, ending in October 2020, then back into the van full time for 12 months until we moved into our home in
Taree.
Since joining the BOG we have made many enduring friendships, enjoying the AGM Musters In Streaky Bay (2018), Corryong
(2022) and Horrocks Beach (2023). We also have enjoyed mini musters in Tasmania, Eulo QLD and Gumma Reserve NSW.
I look forward to continuing to provide support and encouragement to our BOG members and fellow committee members in my
role as President over the coming year
