Camp Oven cooking

Peter Nalder will demonstrate how to set up the fire for camp oven cooking at the rear of the grandstand.

Camp oven cooking competition commences.

Sue Batson and Julie Edenborough will be available to help those who are interested in camp oven cooking.

Categories: plain and fruit scones, cakes, damper, bread, buns, dessert, miscellaneous, first-time entrant.

02:30PM – 03:00PM

Cooked items to be taken into the Bull Bar.  These will be arranged in categories by Catering Manager Jillian, then judged by Helen Elmes from the Mareeba CWA.

04:00PM

Afternoon Tea … Boggers enjoy the camp oven delights. BYO cup/mug – tea/coffee etc supplied.

Winners announced and presentation of awards by Helen Elmes from the Mareeba CWA.

05:00PM

Happy Hour and Friendship Gathering

07:30PM

Trivia Night Bull Bar conducted by Lesley and Steve McDonald.

BYO drinks and nibbles. Tea and Coffee available BYO Cup
